Client Feedback
Very beneficial. She had a challenge since I am a pack rat
by nature. Her approach was very straight forward (and actually
quite simple) which increases the likelihood of maintaining
the process she laid out.
- Company President (CEOS Participant)
The experience was intense and inspiring. I have maintained
organization in my office and have taken on areas in my home
as well.
- Manager (CEOS Participant)
I think this initiative is an excellent idea. The concept
of actually blocking off time and having an organizational
pro work with Management is absolutely phenomenal!! First
of all, I would have never blocked off 4 hours of time to
clean out my files and organize my personal folders. Day to
day operations, as well as, “fire management”
is always sufficient to fill up a day’s work. Second
of all, I would not have had the knowledge to organize my
files in the manner that was presented. Melissa did an excellent
job of emphasizing the “concepts” behind file
management instead of the tasks associated with it.
- One executive who was part of an entire management team
who participated (CEOS Participant)
It was an eye-opening experience that I consider to be very
valuable to me both personally and professionally.
- Manager (CEOS Participant)
I have always considered myself an organized person. However,
I was not organized in an effective and efficient manner,
and even more important, I did not have the right mindset.
Since going through the training with Melissa, everything
I receive whether it is paper or electronic, I ask myself
a few questions. Do I need to file these? Do I need to take
action? Or do I need to throw it out? For example, emails
have overwhelmed me at times. Now, when I receive an email,
I ask myself those questions and make a choice. My Inbox is
nearly empty at any given point during the day. Prior to the
training, I was using three methods to keep up with my appointments
and tasks. Now, I only have one - Outlook. I have really benefited
from Melissa’s assistance and training on utilizing
the Tasks function in Outlook. All my tasks are assigned to
a category which makes it easier to find. I print my tasks
list each morning with my goal to eliminate as many as possible.
This helps me be more productive and stay on top of the things
I need to complete. Making changes to my paper filing system
has also improved my efficiency. Now, my most used files are
easy to locate and are located at an arms length. I have never
been so organized and efficient in my 20 year plus career.
